Unfortunately, on summit day I got violently ill not too long after leaving camp. I was told it looked like a scene from the Exorcist. I turned around but the other two made the south summit. I've vowed to go back.

The south summit is 6m lower than the actual summit. It is on the right in the photo. It is also the cover of the Brad Johnson guidebook. I believe it is in the D- to D range, although that could be off. It's about 7-8 pitches of 60-80 degrees, (from what I was told since I had to turn back).

The actual summit is 5703m, the south summit is 5697m. I think the south is a more aesthetic climb with a bit more difficulty, though.
