Hasn't voted | Definitely. I think it's one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. | | Posted Mar 25, 2004 11:11 pm |

Hasn't voted | It reminds me of a less vegetated Ruby Lake in the San Juans. Ruby Lake, although very hard to get to, is just as spectacular. Plus it has the West Needles as a backdrop.

Hasn't voted | Wow! That's beautiful. So many mountains (and lakes), so little time... I may have to try Pigeon Peak out someday. | | Posted Mar 27, 2004 10:23 am |

Hasn't voted | Out of all of the basins I have been to, I like the Ruby Lake Basin the best. It is flanked on all sides by steep mountains. Pigeon and Turret to the South, Eolus and North Eolus to the East, Animas and Monitor to the North, and the West Needles to the west. The walls are extremely steep too. The only problem....getting to Ruby Lake is very difficult. | | Posted Mar 27, 2004 12:46 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I like how you got the conglomerate rock in the foreground. A nice touch! Reminds me of a shot in the "Hiking Colorado's Geology" book. | | Posted May 19, 2004 6:34 pm |
