One of the things I regret in Poland is that there is the same time-zone than in France. But this inconvenient turns into an advantage when hiking in the mountains ! In Pyrenees I always used to start before sunrise (6-7am depending on the season). Here in Tatras you can start at 4 and make a whole "day-hike" before the crowds really started to invade the mountains :)
