Hasenöhrl seen from west from the summit of the Laaser Spitze on the other side of the Martell valley which is some 2000 m lower (left of the cairn) and that ends at the Vinschgau valley which leads into the haze. Behind Hasenöhrl would be Ultental valley (October 1995). Very far away on the horizon on this fine day can be seen the Zillertal Alps (left, snow covered) and the Dolomites (left of Hasenöhrl) - see close-up
