Klawatti Peak from the south...
Klawatti Peak from the south (from the snow and ice dome closely SSE of Eldorado Peak) on April 3, 2004. Klub Klawatti Kol is on the left. You can see the hourglass-shaped South Face. One person in our party skied it, another boarded it, still another wished he'd boarded it. I myself booted it both ways 'cause I'm a wuss skier. It's steep (45 degrees trending toward 50 degrees at upper left).
