Stefan Feller leading up the wet Class 4 slab from the snowfinger to the notch. The snow blocks were not an issue for his lead. Incidentally, this picture was taken about two-thirds up the Class 4/5 face seen above. I was trying to find a route up that wall but was foiled by a harder Class 5 traverse in order to gain the summit ridge. And since we didn't have any real pro other than pickets and slings, we went for Plan B (Stefan's lead here). April 25, 2004.
