Don't you mean we didn't succeed at this 5.10- crack that he and Shirley would really enjoy? Nope. All we were able to do for that crack was re-arrange the furniture. Anybody that could climb Spiderman Buttress ought to be able to suction his/her way up that crack (Angel Crack).

...ahhhh, the 5.10b rating I got out of Rock Climbing WA book by SMoot.........

Becky's 5.7+ = 5.10 in other words kind of deal.

That's a pretty ballsy attempt - nice job regardless of how high you got up!

BTW, Givler's Crack (pitch 2) was UNREAL!!!!! That pitch alone was worth the 6 h. drive from Portland! The kind of pitch you don't want to end while you're climbing it.

I kind of think that Leavenworth is your domain (by the way, got pic's of Cocaine Connection/R&D if you want to post Icicle Buttress....also a fun climb but man, there were parties of Mounties ahead of us and it pretty much took most of the day to do that 4-pitch route!!).

Have you (or Paul) done Orbit?

In terms of alpine climbs...hmmmm, definitely time to stop cragging for us and do some "real climbing". As to what exactly we'll do first will be determined by the weather forecasts come THrusday night.
