We managed to get off route while crossing the Ebersbacher ledges on the Mountaineer's Route. This is NOT the right ledge as we discovered on the return! However, we still managed to cross safely. You are suppose to navigate the boulders in the upper left corner of this photo to gain the Ebersbacher ledges, which are above this position. The evil Willows can be seen below. May 7, 2004.
