Exciting read on the trip report. Glad that elbow found its way. Don't know if you ever met my buddy BJ from Spokane but he tells the story of his scariest climbing on this wall, either on Orbit or Outer Space where he got off route and had to downclimb a ways. Seems to be an interesting place. Hope to make it there this year sometime.

Thanks Brian.

It's a cool place you should check out sometime. It's cragging but in a beautiful setting (Snow Creek Wall almost feels alpine :).

But of course it feels almost alpine, its almost to the Enchantments, one of the best alpine areas that exists. Having said that, I'm heading for Nevada tomorrow to chase after Boundary and some other desert Hp's before it gets too hot. Ah mountains, they come in all shapes and sizes . Great trip report indeed, you guys rock. : )

Dean,

Thanks :)

I fully agree - it IS on the outskirts of one of the most beautiful regions in WA state.

Escaping the stormy weather of the PNW for the long weekend?? That's great Dean - I look forward to seeing photos of your Boundary (and other) climb. By the way, I bought a book on Amazon today called "Hiking The Great Basin" by John Hart - this was inspired by an exchange I read here:

Looks like it might have some info. on desert peaks in that region. Not sure how relevant it would be to your county highpointing effort (how many more in NV do you have left?).

Hi Radek:

I have only six done in Nevada with 11 to go so whatever I get will whittle it down. I really enjoy Nevada and its myriad of mountain ranges. Sparsely populated but a pretty neat state. Thanks for the heads up on the book, I'll have to check that out.

Dean,

Have a great time in NV - seems like an excellent idea for this weekend given the local forecast for PNW!

Look forward to checking out your photos.
