Rifugio Città di Vigevone (2.871m) at Col d'Olen, Valle di Gressoney, south of Monte Rosa (August 2007)

"Photo was taken early in the morning from the Rifugio Gugliermina. I reached that hut in a huge thunder- and snowstorm the night before. That was the first time I heared the hissing sound of the St. Elmo's fire, coming from my crampons and ice axe. Quite scary, I must say."
