This photo was taken pretty close to the exact spot of a fatal avalanche that occurred this past January.

	Hasn't voted	Yes, I read about that. I believe it was during a fairly risky period of time of know snow pack instability. Is this your observation?

	Hasn't voted	I don't remember the conditions very well. I stumbled across the SAR team a few days after the incident, so the conditions were probably much different. Of course by that point, it was an operation to recover the body. Here's a discussion on the California message board from a few months ago.
