The "Cloud" that eventually chased us off of the summit just kept getting bigger and bigger but yet, it had a beauty all of its own. Nevertheless, I did keep an eye on it as I hurried for the summit. July 3, 2004

Hasn't voted | Great shot Dean. As we drove down I-5 that morning I watched those things grow. We were sitting in a caffe in down town Mt. Shasta and you could actually see those clouds rising up and swallowing the top of the mountain. Hasn't voted | Thanks for the comment on the picture. A ranger chased everyone else off the peak just after we got to the summit. The electrical storm never materialized but he was taking no chances.
