This photo is like the postcard which all the tourists buy to show their relatives at home the the alps in their whole beauty.

Everytime I see Wetterhorn from this perspective I think it looks a little bit like Zugspitze from Ehrwald.

Thanks for the comment! I took the picture somewhere in the evening when descending Kleine Scheidegg on a rented cheese-bike :-) It's one of my personal favourites, and it indeed shows the beauty of the alps. Nice green grass and picturesque villages, lined with massive mountains (even though Grindelwald isn't exactly picturesque these days).

You´re right in grindelwald are some big ugly hotels, nowadays.
