A view of the freakish... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
A view of the freakish...
A view of the freakish catwalk (maybe even for a cat) that completes the climb. It's about six inches wide on average and, to make things a little more difficult, there's a loose pile of rocks at the far end that requires a sort of capriole to get over. It was this loose pile that scared me into downclimbing the upper arête instead. The arête completion is out of sight to the left. Aug. 8, 2004.

"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."   --M. Cartmill
