A cairn in route to Twin...
A cairn in route to Twin Rocks. There are a few here and there but don't count on being able to follow them for very long. This route will at least keep you out of the rugged Twin Rocks Canyon for a while. July 17, 2004.

I wouldn't trust these much. There are a few technical climbs hidden in this area and I think the cairins probably point to them.

I am sure they do go to some technical climbing in the area but none are well know or in any climbing books that I know of. At least they give some idea that you are in the right place. I would imagine there are some good climbs near Granite as I saw some pretty tall vertical faces near the summit.

I've heard there are routes in that area that are "secret" and are not in the guidebooks.
