Mt Whitney under the moon...
Mt Whitney under the moon light, from Iceberg Lake. Light from descending climbers' headlamps was visible in the Mountaineer's chute (first chute right of the summit) even as late as 2 am. August 2004.

I love the long exposure shot. the moonlight portrays the mountain in an outer wordly way. nice job

coming down the chute. Looks great, makes me fell happy to be back at camp instead of making my way down in the dark.

Yes they are headlights. The East Buttress had a long line of climbers that day, some ended up coming down in the wee hours. Good weather though.
