 | | noah | Hi OM question | |
Hasn't voted | I see here that you use a Sigma x2, do you like it.
I'm currently using a cannon 300D with a cannon 18-55mm and a sigma 28-300 but was thinking about get a x2 just to get more in on the action. | | Posted Oct 19, 2004 7:45 am |

Hasn't voted | focal x2 multiplier is not usefull in any case:
I use it only with steady and luminous lens only (180 mm with 2.8 aperture or with 300mm f4 on tripod) because it divides luminosity by 4 and you have to use X2 speed to avoid blurred picts. Monopod can help but is heavy to carry anyway.
X2 multipliers are not working with all lenses due to the position of the back lens when focusing on far objets.
Multipliers are enlarging the picture given by the main lens so the main lens has to be a very good one. | | Posted Oct 20, 2004 7:32 am |
