Four seasons at the Maroon... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Four seasons at the Maroon...
Four seasons at the Maroon Bells.

As you can tell, I've been working on this for a while. :) It all started in the fall about four years ago, and I must have shot this same scene at least 8 times. I really need to get a better "summer" shot, with less snow, and hopefully some wildflowers. Next year I guess.

Thanks Barry!. You're not just kidding! Believe it or not, when I was up there a few weeks ago (yes, I shot it again!), there was actually some brand new freakin' grafitti on the main tree on the right!!!! AARRGGHH!! And get this, it says" Sonja, Troy & Kids". What a great thing to teach your kids!

What a pisser!

Thanks everyone!!!!

I appreciate the nice comments. Kinda been fun to do. In fact, I just started another series. It's actually shot from the same spot (literally), but is panned to the left to include both Pyramid Peak and the Bells. So far only have Fall and Spring. Winter is the tricky one to get since the road is closed, but hopefully I can get up there in the next few weeks with some fresh snow. I'll post more when I get them.

you need to go some other places too! :) The San Juans in the autumn (esp around Sneffels) are amazing. Just messin'. Kick-ass shot.
