Leading P3 (~A2) of Northeast Face route just below the belay atop midway ledge. This 90-foot pitch goes from vertical to slightly overhanging near the top (October 30, 2004).

Actually Shirley carried a real piton hammer just so that she could yank out the pitons I pounded in (2 or 3 only). However, given that the pitons were driven into old bolt holes, we figured it might be better not to further damage the holes by yanking them out....i.e. left those 2 or 3 pitons in place. | | Posted Nov 2, 2004 1:18 am |
