Looking up Kyle canyon from Charleston Peaks summit, Mummy Mountain is off to the left. The Las Vegas area is just beyond the low ridge you see in the right background. At night, this must be a well lit up spectacle.

Actually, this picture well illustrates the Kyle Canyon area. As you said, Mummy Mountain is on the left. The peak to the right of Mummy is Fletcher Peak. The prominent ridge in the center of the picture is Cockscomb Ridge. The Trail Canyon trail ascends along the base of Cockscomb Ridge up toward where the ridge meets the base of Mummy Mountain. From there, the trail works its way to the left and out of the frame...
