Mt. Pratt (far left) and McKittrick Canyon from the top of the Permian Reef Geology Trail. January 2003. The Permian Reef Geology Trail is a seldom hiked trail but well worth the effort. If you choose to backpack in using the McKittrick Ridge trail, the trail lies directly on the saddle directly below Mt. Pratt in this photo and ascends up onto the ridge up to the right.
