Thanks. I have as well never seen such clouds before. There have been others, like lenticulars, but never this strange. Jet stream ?? Maybe there is a summit poster familiar in meteorology ? BTW: next day was totally wind still on high noon at 6100m, just hours later the day heavy snow storm. Weather can change rapidly in the Himalayas.

Only the himalayas touch the jetstream occasionally so Im guessing thats the reason for those bizzare clouds
