Camping in lean-to found upon reaching the
ridge in June 2002. (I collapsed here after taking 5 hours to reach the ridge.) This is one of two adjacent windbreaks located at the trail
junction at the halfway point on the South Loop
Trail. The trees are ancient bristlecones.
