You guys have a great story and pictures. Way to go. My friends and I did Icy Peak last Fall. This photo of yours shows the ridge we scramble up from the Nooksack river coming right out of the glacier. Icy Peak looks so tiny from where your picture is taken. Congradulations on a great climb, thanks for sharing it with all SP's.

Thanks. We were really happy about not dying. Are your memories of Icy fresh enogh to do a page for SP? It's been over a decade for me, and I don't have much for pictures. The peak certainly deserves a page.

Icy Peak has a page now. I posted the route up the Nooksack Cirque, but the page belongs to another climber, with one other post I think, coming from Ruth Mountain. It was remote like you guys said about climbing Nooksack Tower. We only saw one other hiker that was camping in the river bed near where the maintained trail leaves the trees and dumps you out into the hopefully half dry Nooksack River bed. I think we read the summit register on Icy that only six other parties climbed it last year. Not that it is like your climb, but it isn't famous and it is a ways back there. I think it would be cool to do Cloud Cap Peak (Seahpo)

for the same reason, not many really get back there to do it. Let me know if Icy Peak page is helpful.

Eric:

I was looking to see if you checked out the Icy Peak page. I thought I messaged you about the page. You said it deserved a page of its own. It is there. I hope you enjoy checking it out and can get there one route or another. Any way, nice job again on the Nooksack Tower. I have told many to take a look. You should do an anniversery climb and resubmit.

Thanks, you're right. I don't know how I forgot Icy is already here. Seahpo sounds fun in Beckey's book. He seems to imply the rock is more sound than Nooksack Tower and the rest of the ridge. As for an anniversary climb, I barely made it up Whistler Mtn. last Spring. I'd be hard-pressed to make it to Price Lake. I gotta get out & play more often.
