Mt. Morrison at sunset. March 11, 2005. The northwest ridge forms the right skyline. There is a great campsite on a saddle on the ridge at about 9,000 feet, just below where the difficulties begin. The approach to the campsite is class 2. It can easily be reached in less than two hours, even in winter.
