Hasn't voted | When i climbed Kilimanjaro (Sept 2001) I was amazed at the plush mealtime set up - the table was set with linens ! Almost expected to see candles on our table!! Hasn't voted | Hi Liz. Nah, we were tough, we didn't need one of those sissy dining tents! :-}
Actually since it was just the two of us they didn't carry a dining tent, and when the weather was bad (almost every night) we just ate sitting up in our sleeping tent. But yes, the "table" was always nicely set and they surprised and delighted us with fresh fruit and vegetables every day. | | Posted May 4, 2005 9:28 am |

Hasn't voted | Kili was certainly the most spoiled i have ever been on a trek! Never expected all the Marangu Hotel arranged for us (also just two of us)
And it was a very rude awakening when off to Aconcagua i went ... thank God for the mules!!! ;-)
All great fun however!
