XC straight up from Farley Lake Date Climbed: Jun 27, 2009
Fun 2,300 ft straight up and down from Farley Lake. Steep dirt and tree slopes. Great view of Snowy Cramer, Decker, Snowyside, Parks, Perfect and lots of lakes. Fun mountain. Not that difficult. Fast going down.
I climbed the East ridge on a stormy day. I saw a few big, juicy flakes, but basically dodged the storm and stayed dry.
The way I went was Class II.
The last person to sign the summit register was September 26 of last year.
Great Fall day for a trail run and scramble. Ran to Farley Lake, then scrambled the south slopes to the summit. Descended the east ridge and found a manageable route down, although it's easy to get cliffed in this area.
