In 350 miles of Washington Cascade hiking this season, this area between Snow Lake and Gem Lake produced some of my favorite pics. This was in early October.

Very pretty

...Almost unreal in its perfection, even sunken leaves in the clear waters of the pond. Great job, magical area, that's for sure.
