In the upper part of Éperon...
In the upper part of Éperon Gousseault on July 28th, 2002. In the background first the big crevasses of the glacier, which comes up from Ref. Grands Mulets in the East of Rocher Pitschner/Roche de l'Heureux. You could put several houses in these crevasses. During our climb, we saw and heard several avalanches going down on this glacier.... really terrifying. On the plateau behind these crevasses is the normal route from Ref. Grands Mulets to Bossesridge. On the left edge of the picture you can see, that the Grand Plateau is like swiss cheese ....
