Independencia Hut (Aconcagua)

Stopping to rest at the Independencia Hut (21,000') on the way to the summit of Aconcagua. The hut may provide limited protection from the wind during an emergency. However, it was missing a roof when I was there and is therefore not suitable for camping overnight. Photo taken December 15, 2005.
