to the west. I took this pic while standing next to the cairn with the register. If you look downhill to where you can see the road, I think you are looking at the easiest route up. I went a bit to the east and ended up dropping and then regaining elevation to a ridge that I then had to descend. This view made me think I had not taken the best route up. 9-21-08
