Inflorescence of Welted Thistle
Welted Thistle ( Carduus acanthoides – in Polish: Oset nastroszony) is a native plant in Europe but is well-known in many other parts of the world. Blossoms appear from June to September. The plant can reach from 30 to 100 centimetres in height.

Thank you. I'm glad you like to look at my wildflower photos. I'm not a botanist but I really enjoy nature. I love trees and flowers. I'm a lawyer but compared to nature study that is a boring profession. Greetings, Henryk.
