Protected

I was just wondering where this display is?

Is it in a museum or fenced off??

It seems to me these items would disappear quickly it they were not guarded some-how or did you set this up??

Re: Protected

They're protected...I took the picture through an iron barrier..
Anyway it's on the top of Lagazuoi (Passo falzarego),where all the austrian trenches are.
You can get there by lift but it's worth if you climb the mountain walking inside a tunnel built by the italians to reach the top and shot the enemies..
Leave your car at the park close to the lift(funivia) and then walk to the base of Lagazuoi, then go through the italians huts and trenches & follow the signs for the tunnel..it's well iondicated...
Have fun...
By the way all that area due to a special agreement between italian and austrian governments is going to be restored..it's a real, amazing air oipen museum of the WW1...

The type of machine gun that my Grandfather faced and survived in the Battle of the Somme. Makes me appreiciate that I am lucky to be born.
