Inversion in Salt Lake Valley

Inversion in Salt Lake Valley

One of the worst inversions I've seen in the Salt Lake valley from the summit of Reynolds Peak. The pollution is so bad down there that my eyes were burning driving through it. 12-20-2009.

This has been a heated

issue on Summitpost for some time now.

Would you call that smog, fog, haze, gunk, or
just call it an inversion and play it safe ???

I bet there's a plethora of people down there
wishing they were above it instead of below it! Happy Holidays to you folks up there!

Really? What is the "heated issue?" It's an inversion that contains tons of pollution. Are there people who don't think the Salt Lake valley is disgustingly polluted?

You're right! There it is for all to see !!!

I remember "breathing in" some of that stuff when I lived in northern Utah. Guess that some folks still choose to live in denial. Sad ...

I heard that Santa will be running his
sleigh with a catalytic converter this year.

Um, yeah, "fog" isn't the color of urine...

Yep, that's what happens when you have so many
folks living in one area saying, "This Is The
Place."
