Quick up and back after work on a hot afternoon. Still in the mid 90's at 5:30 p.m. Views from the peak were quite nice as the sun was getting ready for a classic So Cal sunset.
Monte Cristo Peak, Iron #3, Round Top, Granite, Rabbit. The loop is probably easier this way than the opposite direction.

A loop hike including Iron # 3, Roundtop, Pacifico, Granite # 1, & Rabbit # 1. A little breeze helped to keep the temperature down a little. While the area is very dry and barren, the views are far-reaching.
I've done the Iron, Rabbit, Roundtop, Granite loop twice. Once clockwise and once counter-clockwise. I also came up here a third time just to tag Iron.

SW SlopeVery steep and loose on this slope. I needed gaiters on my trail runners. The views are very nice.
