| I did a few training runs while on vacation in Ramona on this mountain. It was great once I got off of the main trail to the summit. However the main trail is clogged by folks wearing headphones and walking around like they're in a shopping mall (e.g. no eye contact and complete shock when you say hi!) | ||

| Lived just a few miles away, so this was a regular in the cool months. Quick and easy, great views at sunset. It often catches the marine layer in the early AM. It does get insanely crowded, especially on weekend mornings. Mid-afternoon during the week can be pretty reasonable. | |

| Climbed both peaks in one day. Iron mountain is a nice and easy hike up to the summit, but most of the trail is exposed with sparse vegetation. Trailhead parking used to get pretty crowded along the road, but they just opened up a new parking lot. | |

| Nice easy morning hike. This can be done in 90 minutes round trip with added time for rest on top. It gets crowded with people and dogs and parking can be tough on the weekends. If going, bring plenty of liquids (a bottle of water won't do) and dress light cause its a dry, desert area. Enjoy! | |
