| A long, long time ago. Mike and I enjoyed a five day back pack trip from the top, along the white rim, camping along the river, back along the white rim, and return. Beautiful spring weather. Almost no people. Had to resort to CO River water and didn't get sick! Lillian and I came back in spring of 1984 for car camping and day hiking along the plateau. Magical place! | |

| Hiked the Lathrop Canyon Trail and Road, explored various canyons, and drove Shafer Trail Road, Potash Road and part of White Rim Road. Need to go back again for more! | |

| Spent a few days here in 1998 and visited several of the sites. Stayed in Moab and had a real good time with all there is to do in this area. Hope to go back someday. | |

| White Rim Overlook, Grand View, Mesa Arch, Whale Rock, Murphy Trail, and Upheaval Dome. I've been down the Shafer Trail switchbacks and White Rim Road. I also hiked the rim loop at Dead Horse SP. It's a great place to camp for the night. | |

| It was nice and HOT for this midday hike. If you don't like heat, avoid hiking to the White Rim in July and August. I like the heat, so I did it August 10. | |
