Jamapa Glacier after Five Months without Precipitation
As we started up the Jamapa Glacier, the sun appeared over the horizon and illuminated the penitentes that had formed during a particularly long stretch without precipitation in the area.

haha... yes it did feel like another world, and even another world from the Mexico people know from its coasts! Unfortunately, this is getting to be long enough ago that it is starting to feel like another life! I really need to do another bigger trip. Thanks you for the comliment on the picture. Cheers!

I should post the picture to SP... I came down with cholera! Was on an IV for a day and had antibiotics administered through a huge needle to my ass every morning for half a week =(
