January 22, 2005 - Looking up at the 'step' crux of the Everest Ridge. Marauder's route traverses to the right. Joe Bullough and I attempted to climb up the snow tongue through the middle of the cliffs - this variation works out but requires some class 4 mixed scrambling on the final rime-encrusted cliffband.
