Jim Lierman and Denise...
Jim Lierman and Denise Yourick descend the Class 3 rib on the southeast face of Mount Paiute. The snow on the left would make a great climb or descent with appropriate gear as well in the right conditions. In summer and fall, the gully is a scree and talus jumble. We think the rock scrambling is preferable, but a steady if awkward walk up or down the gully is also possible. IU Trekkers Outing, Summer, 2004.
