Is this photo shot early or late in the day, or is it just the gloomy winter atmosphere of a wintery Europe?

	Hasn't voted	Its about 10 in the morning and it was a sunny day, but you are most of the day in the shadow of the mountain. That makes this atmosphere.

	Hasn't voted	Not the best friend while you are climbing, but the sun makes the snow melting and in the night the water freeze again, so its a friend and your enemy...

Good to hear things are going well. Will be going up to Canada this winter for Ice and Mixed routes. If you ever get a chance that is one place just full of ice routes of all sorts. I know you have a lot of ice climbing areas in Germany and around there that are hard not to leave there for the winter. Who knows maybe I can plan a climbing trip there next winter.
