I'm strange but I love it when my hands start looking this way. Looks like a great trip.

I know exactly what you mean about hands looking like you have been climbing. After the first few times you sort of get used to the pain, and begin to even enjoy picking at the dry scabs. I used to have a hand maintainence kit for cutting out all my callesses on the palms of my hands.
But, my hands have become pretty soft and every little thing makes them hurt. Oh well, just have to accept reality of time.
