It's a nice tour indeed. I had not been in the area specifically until I attended this group outing. I enjoyed it it 'cause all I had to do was follow. No thinking needed...until the return. I saw the return route and thought it made sense for dodging the windon the Divide. Very nice area!

Hi Guys,

Is this a good area to get some good pics of Mountain Goats? How early can I get up there becasue of the snow, seems like i heard this is a reocrd year for snow, would you think Mid July before a person could get up to say Jones pass and surrounding area?

Hi Scott-

I have never seen mountain goats in this particular area. I have seen them in abundance just south of I-70 though on Grays and Torreys Peaks and spanning over to Mount Evans.
