| Did this on my way back from my loop up the Mt. Wilson trail. Did Wilson, then Harvard, then wrapped all the way around Harvard and Yale, and cut down the steep connector trail to get on the ridge to Hastings. Did Jones on the way down and connected back to the Mt. Wilson trail 5 hours after first coming by there. Hot, long day, but accomplished a lot! | |

| The first time I tried the loop I missed the connector trail from the Mt Wilson Trail side (its a little hard to see because the first ~30 feet of the trail look like a natural drainage.) Ended up on top of Mt Harvard instead . . . then down the firebreak to Jones. (But now I just do the loop with Bailey Canyon.) | |

| Mountain Impulse showed me the route from Baily Canyon, up to Mount Wilson, down the old mountain wilson trail up past Orchard camp, then we took the steep trail back up to the ridge, climbed Jones and then followed the ridge down until it intersected the Old Mount Wilson Trail. | Have done Jones Peak multiple times usually on runs up Bailey Canyon or from the Mt. Wilson Trail and up the Connector Trail to the ridge. | |
