Ice Fog  Sucess!

Ryan and I drove up in thick ice fog after dark. Views extended all the way out to about 100 ft.

Second Time... To See A List Completion  Sucess!

Rarely do I return to sites of successful summit attempts, especially via the same route. I made an exception in this case, so I could witness Bob Bolton becoming the third person to complete the Washington 25-Mile Isolation Peak list, the same day that we earlier summited Hog Ranch Buttes (another peak on that list) together.
Congratulations, Bob!

Did it once  Sucess!

The only time I ever visited this one was when John Roper came to the area with Jeff Howebert. Of course it is a drive up so once was enough. We did about 5 others on the same day which made the day a lot of fun.

A Drive-Up  Sucess!

Although several other peaks (such as Badger Mountain and Red Mountain) near the Tri-Cities area appear to be taller from different angles, I was intrigued that this peak was the tallest around. Its isolation from higher peaks made it a viable option for us, and an outstanding summit viewpoint.
