Many breath taking spots here, looks like a proper place to camp and enjoy the scenery.

It did turn out to be a very beautiful place and it is good to know that it is a "protected area". I am really interested in knowing the name of the shrub with yellow flowers. It is about a meter tall and covers the slopes up to 3000 m or so. I know the smaller thorny purple ones are called "Gavan".

A close up picture of this plant could make it easier to find out the name.



I know in the Alborz region there are many family of plant " Golpar ". They are very strong survivor, as you know some of them are edible(in Iran ), other (most in Europe)poisonous, some are used in industry or as a medicine( in Iran ), some can be burned or spread out around the tent to avoid insect and snakes. This plant have simlar structure to Golpar, but the color is not the same !



I would also like to know more about it.
