Richard Carey and I followed the Dennis Poulin directions as found on Peakbagger. We didn't get to south juniper spring but we did get within a half mile of it and was 400 feet lower which put us a thousand feet lower than the summit. Dennis mentioned getting to a saddle where he stopped and that was the same saddle where we parked and called it our trailhead. We had done Hannan Range H.P. earlier so this was our second peak of the day. We waited till it got a bit cooler and didn't begin our hike until after 4 pm
