Just below Goûter Hut, Mt. Blanc

[ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
Just below Goûter Hut, Mt. Blanc
Moni shortly before arriving at the Goûter Hut.
The blue dot shows the position of the Tête Rousse Hut.
The gully to the right is the Grand Couloir. Compare this picture to this one.
Although that one was taken in August, there was much more snow during that summer!

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
