Just below the main peak of Charlies Bunion, where the trail skirts the cliffs. Late Spring, sometime in the mid 80s. But it might as well have been Winter for all of the snow and ice we enountered on that trip.

i used to climb this peak all the time when i lived in nc with friends , geat times and memories, do you know the prominence?

Actually, no. It lies among so many other high peaks that it probably doesn't show a lot of prominence when compared to them.
