A lake on the Concordia?! Is it the consequence of global warming? Very nice shot, my congratulations!
Best regards, Andrej

What a fantastic and different shot of K2. I have to ponder with the gentleman below on the Global Warming comment though.

Thank you very much for your vote and commnets to my photo. The global warming is effecting the Karakoram, but not as much as compare to the other regions. The weather conditions in Karakoram is extremly cold and in the winter season, all these lake and streams frozen and becomes a part of the glacier.

Yes, I waited at Concordia for three days. First two days the weather was very cloudy, but the 3rd day the weather was sunny.

I read that K-2 is not as high as MT. Everest, but is harder to climb....great photo! You are an amazing person! :)

Thank you very much Elizabeth! for your comments and vote. K-2, only 773 feet lower than Everest, is considered the most challenging and beautiful of all mountains. First conquered by an Italian expedition on 31 July, 1954, its perils are many, avalanche, landslide, frequent and unpredictable storm, and savage winds. It has claimed many lives.
